About Discover Dance With Elon
Discover Dance With Elon was a one-day event held Saturday, November 13th 2021, designed to introduce high school students to the potential of studying dance at the collegiate level.
This event was organized by the Senior Seminar, Fall 2021 Arts Administration class which is a requirement to Arts Admin majors.
This opportunity gave students a chance to take dance classes in a variety of genres while also introducing them to the administrative and business possibilities available in dance. The Students had the opportunity to attend the Elon Performing Arts Fall Dance Concert, meet with Elon University Admissions, and partake in a photography session with the purpose of providing them a dance photograph for potential audition purposes.
Students will have the ability to cater their experience with the option to select classes to fit their interests. This unique experience offers the perspective of current students, professors, and admissions representatives for attendees to receive well-rounded insight and to decide if dance is the path for them.
