Elon University has one of the few undergraduate programs in Arts Administration with more than one fully dedicated faculty member. Prof. David McGraw and Prof. Wen Guo teach all of the core Arts Administration courses as well as oversee all internships and research projects. David McGraw Program Coordinator, Arts Administration
David McGraw is the Program Coordinator for the Arts Administration program and the Front of House Supervisor for Performing Arts. Prof. McGraw is the author of "The Epoch Model: An Arts Organization with an Expiration Date," featured in 20UNDER40: Re-inventing the Arts and Arts Education for the 21st Century. He is also co-author of Return to the Stage, a longitudinal study measuring the impact of COVID-19 on the Performing Arts workforce. He formerly served the head of the stage management and arts entrepreneurship programs at the University of Iowa as well as the Executive Director of the Iowa Summer Rep. Mr. McGraw also founded SM-Sim, LLC, and the Stage Manager Survey, the largest study of stage managers in the world. He currently serves on the national board of the Stage Managers Association.

Wen Guo Assistant Professor Arts Administration
Dr. Wen Guo is an Assistant Professor of Arts Administration in the Department of Art. She graduated from Ohio State University with a doctoral degree in Cultural Policy and Arts Administration and joined Elon in 2019.Her research expertise is on nonprofit arts organization management and cultural policy in the US and China. She also conducts research on contemporary visual culture and the application of design thinking in higher education. She serves as a research catalyst in the Center for Design Thinking at Elon. Having a strong passion for developing female leadership in the creative sector, she serves as a faculty mentor for the student-organized annual Leading Women in Audio Conference. She is an editorial board member of the American Journal of Arts Management. Wen is very interested in working with undergraduate research projects at any level. One of her undergraduate student research mentees successfully presented his work in the annual conference of the Association of Arts Administration Education in 2019.
